The Concept of Altruism is one concept that is applied by the Japanese people in the company who is often mentioned by the Japanese themselves which is called ritashugi that inside can be seen obvious elements of the concept of wa. The formulation of this study was to analyze the application of ritashugi on Japanese companies in Indonesia. The purpose of this study was to analyze the application of the concept of altruism (ritashugi) on Japanese company in Indonesia, name PT. Marimo Property. Descriptive literature, survey method and descriptive analysis method is used as the research methods. The authors found that five characteristics of the altruistic nature described on Bierhoff’s theory such as empathy, social responsibility, etc. is contained in PT. Marimo Property and the majority of employees have altruistic nature is based on their social responsibility.
